Scoresby Sund Explorer- Micro Expedition Cruise in remote east Greenland – September 2025
Scoresby Sund Explorer- Micro Expedition Cruise in remote east Greenland – September 2025
The sheer scale of Scoresby Sund is breathtaking. Towering peaks plunge into deep icy waters, their stark beauty mirrored in the glassy surfaces of the fjords that stretch for many miles. Giant sculpted icebergs run aground among Bjorn Ø (the Bear Islands).
Exploring Scoresby Sund in September offers a chance to witness the light and shadow that plays across the landscape around the autumnal equinox. Capturing golden silhouettes of icebergs on mirror-calm mornings is an opportunity too good to pass for keen photographers. Hardy Arctic flora assumes golden, pink and red hues. At night, we’ll be on the lookout for the aurora borealis painting the sky with dancing ribbons of green light.
Limited to just 12 guests, you will be expertly guided through Scoresby Sund by two guides with two zodiacs to explore from our very comfortable eco-friendly mothership. Having just six people per zodiac affords plenty of room for everyone to “get the shot”.
